I have over 14 years experience in working with the recovery community. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory status as well as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I also do marriage and family therapy, couples counseling, and individual counseling for depression, anxiety issues, and most other issues related to mental health.
I don't believe anyone has to be defined by their past. Oftentimes trauma effects our ability to get and stay clean and sober. These issues prevent people from living the life they both want and deserve. I would be honored to assist you in your journey to freedom. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." I believe that we do not have to live in fear of the past or fear of the future. Living in the now allows us to be free. Exploring and identifying the lies we believe about self is the gateway to learning to live in the now.
